Are you a musician, writer, video creator, film maker, game developer, etc who does content on the more mature side of the spectrum and wants to responsibly label thier creations? Do you want to avoid reading 4 long pages of legal jargon that's basically incomprehensible? Do you want to avoid expensive internation phone calls so that you don't go broke? Want to keep the rights to all of your content?
If you said yes to all of the above we have just the thing for you! Say hello to the state of the art Restricted Content Label! This label can be slapped onto visual media for your releases. Said fuck once in a song on an album requiring the whole album to be marked as explicit? Go ahead and slap the label on! Covering hardcore grindcore metal music? Slap the label on! Made a game containing a 3 hour long smashing scene? Slap the label on! Made a.... Okay I think you get the point by now.
This label is released under CC-BY meaning you can use it whenever you want without any of the annoying shit the big names do. We are not enforcing you to attribute us and we aren't going to hunt you down for not attributing us. It's only under the license to prevent someone who abuses the copyrighted system to claim the label as thier own and sue anyone or abuses the DMCA system anyone using a public usable label. If someone attempts to DMCA you for the use of the RCL dispute it and provide the link to this page. Everyone has the right to use it but not the right to claim it as thier own.
This is purely based on your judgement. One music artist might think it's okay to drop a single f-bomb without labeling thier whole album explicit. Another may think that it should have an explicit content label. One artist might also think it's okay to have the f-bomb in a song title for an instrumental without labeling the whole album explicit. Then there's another artist that has the f-bomb in an instrumental song title and marks the whole instrumental album explicit. In the end, all that matters is your good judgement.
Note: D-Mension Studios is not liable for any content you use the RCL on. D-Mension Studios is not associated with content the RCL is used on unless otherwise stated by us. We also do not endorse any content the RCL label is on unless otherwise stated by us.
